Zinnias and Swallowtails is me — my love for design, my love of story — embodied in varied template designs (or “page maps”, or sketches, or outlines), scrapbooking essentials and tools, and story-centric journaling prompts and inspiration for the modern scrapbooker and storyteller. My goal is to create high quality products that inspire and help others to capture their own stories on the page, no matter if they are a beginner or a veteran and no matter their scrapbooking style.
Zinnias and Swallowtails emerged in May 2010 after much encouragement and support from friends and loved ones. In some ways it felt like the next creative step in my evolution as a lover of scrapbooking and storytelling. I love, love, love capturing the every day moments in my own scrapbooking and I longed to make it something MORE, to take it beyond myself, to be a part of that love and journey for others.
