Time Capsule :: Free Download

in transitional times and topsy turvy times and times full of busy and hard and all the feelings…

• we remember there are things worth holding tightly
• we keep stock of what life looks like now, so we can look back later and be gifted with perspective and context
• we collect memories
• we pay attention to detail
• and I am reminded, as ever, of the importance of making memories, documenting personal histories and celebrating all the things, big and small, that live in the details of our everyday.

And part of that for me has always been embracing the celebration of Story and memory keeping. This year, as always, the Lilypad Designers have created a fresh series of free downloads to kick off this year’s Digital Scrapbooking Day (DSD) festivities!  The Time Capsule collection is documenting the details of the world around us, the current events and *our* current events, the things worth holding tightly. So welcome to my little bit of the memory keeping parade! You may have found your way here from Allison’s blog as you hop along collecting these storytelling staples.

Here’s the little pack of staples that I created, with a heart for documenting our current events in an almanac-y kind of way. So hope you enjoy!
