The Journal :: Newsletter
The Journal is the official newsletter of Plant Your Story and Zinnias and Swallowtails. When you subscribe to The Journal you can control how much (or how little) information, what kind of content you’d like to receive in your inbox, and how often you’d like to you’d like to hear from me. You can choose to subscribe to any or all of the following:
- Plant Your Story News — This edition of The Journal is a relatively low volume newsletter. You can expect to hear from me only when I have news and updates to share with you about the latest happenings at Plant Your Story: class information (e.g. Grow With Love), challenges, and exclusive storyteller promotions. This newsletter will NOT include regular news about my designs (Zinnias and Swallowtails).
- Monthly Scrapbooking + Storytelling Inspiration and Encouragement — This edition of The Journal will arrive in your inbox once a month and will feature content that will help encourage you in your storytelling: tips & tutorials, storytelling prompts, a comprehensive look at recent blog articles, features and spotlights, and exclusive storyteller promotions.
- The Garden Report — This is the Zinnias and Swallowtails Newsletter. It features all the latest news and information about my template designs and products including updates about new releases, upcoming sales and promotions. The Garden Report also includes exclusive Z & S savings and deals (including occasional freebies) available only to subscribers.
You can choose whatever editions that best suit your interests. You can also sign up for all three! This would be the best way to ensure you’re on top of all the latest that is happening with me at Plant Your Story and Zinnias and Swallowtails.

The best part is, you can update your preferences any time: simply scroll down to the bottom of any newsletter and click “update subscription preferences” where you can control your subscription or opt-out any time.
Are you already a subscriber of the Zinnias and Swallowtails and would like to receive the Plant Your Story News and/or the Monthly Scrapbooking & Storytelling Inspiration and Encouragement newsletters? No problem! You can easily update your preferences any time you want to receive more or less information from me by clicking on the “update subscription preferences” link at the bottom of any Zinnias and Swallowtails email. If you prefer to keep things “as is”, that’s wonderful too and easy-as-pie: just do nothing and you’ll continue to receive Z&S news as you have been; you will only receive Plant Your Story updates if *you choose* them.
