I didnít expect to enjoy the cruise as much as I did. I mean, I knew Iíd enjoy the activities on board and the good food, but I didnít care at all about where we were going and I wasnít even sure Iíd bother getting off the boat. But Iím glad I did. Iíve never been one for hot weather and Im still not, but I did actually enjoy it. After I wisened up to the sunblock, that is. Somehow, those first couple hours on the ship, before weíd even left the dock, we found ourselves on the top deck forgetting that even though the ship wasnít moving yet, we were still out in the Florida sun! Not our finest hour! We both paid for that the rest of the trip, but at least I remembered sunblock the rest of the time. I can now appreciate why some people like the beach. It was a good time

I really love how you used color here...it perfectly expresses the sense of *heat* and your initial sun burning (ouch!). I also really like how you chronicled your evolution in feelings about the trip in general. So glad you had a wonderful time! Love the pattern play and the use of the stitched circle..it really draws a focus to the summer-y, sunshiny photo!
