Veteran’s Day is a day that holds a special place in my heart.  Not only because I am wife to a man who has chosen to dedicate his life to the service of his country in a way that few ever do.  Not only because I am the grand-daughter of a man who, together with his entire generation, sacrificed and served for something greater than himself.  But also because I know that I am blessed to live freely and live safely and live with choice and opportunity because of the men and women in uniform who have lived and died so that I could.

That is a kind of service that could never be adequately honored.  It is the kind of service for which I give gratitude with my whole heart.  It is the kind of service I hope to never take for granted.

And so with a humble heart full of thanks to all those who have served and who serve today, I say “thank you”.

And in honor of this day, I offered this free download.  🙂  It was inspired by the service of those in uniform.  And created with a heart full of gratitude and hope to honor our veterans here in the U.S. but can certainly be used for any page or project.

A set of 6 journaling cards inspired by the land that I love and those who have sacrificed to make it so.  The journal cards can be used in project life spreads and layouts (both digital and traditional paper).  The cards are available as six individual .png files and also on an easy-to-print high resolution PDF file.

December is the 2nd anniversary of my fathers death. Thank you for these as my dad was a WWII vet and I am going to do something wonderful with these in his honor for my mother.

I’m so sorry for your loss, Dawn Renee. The loss of our dear ones always feels so very heavy some days. I’m honored that you would find a place for these in documenting his legacy and sharing memories with your family. <3

I love the cards, thank you so much for sharing! When I try to click on the image or the download link below it, it will only let me Pin it, not down load. Is anyone else getting that?

Hi Jennifer! Thank you! And I’m sorry for the finicky download link. I’ve noticed that as well, even when I link an image properly. You can still download of course, but it seems to only want to work when you click on the text link itself.

      Happy scrapping! <3
