I already know what my daughter is doing for mother's day. She asked me what I wanted and because I know she does not have a lot of money to spend right now I told her going out with her for karaoke would be my mother's day present. She used to sing in chorus and is really good but she stopped like 2 years ago. She sang a solo at a special performance in 8th grade that she dedicated to me. So sweet
She actually kept the song a secret though I knew she was going to sing one for me. Practiced for over two months. Anyhow I love hearing her sing and if karaoke is the only way for her to get up and sing anymore its worth it So Im really looking forward to that. Then the kids and my husband and I all go out for the day somewhere and take pictures. My boys are not allowed to try to hide from the camera on special days like christmas, mother's day, my birthday etc. Any other day I usually get a picture of their hands in front of their face LOL
